Safe City Jhang Answered 3,915 Emergency Calls in October as 853 Women and Children Complaints Resolved

Safe City Jhang has released its performance report for October 2026, and the figures show a busy month for the district’s technology-led policing system. Police responded to 3,915 incidents reported on emergency helpline 15, resolved hundreds of complaints from women and children through its virtual services, and arranged blood for 81 patients through its virtual blood bank.

The report, published on 5 November 2026, covers the work done through camera monitoring, virtual police services and the emergency response system during October. Safe City Jhang says the combination of modern cameras, timely police response and online services is helping to protect citizens and prevent crime across the district.

The virtual women police station was one of the busiest parts of the service. During October it received 778 complaints relating to women, and 723 of those were resolved successfully. Cases were registered on 11 complaints, while 44 cases were still under investigation when the report was compiled. The service allows women to report problems without visiting a police station in person, and the high resolution rate suggests it is being used as a practical route to help rather than only as a helpline.

Children’s cases were handled through the virtual child safety service, which received 152 cases during the month. Of these, 130 were resolved, cases were registered in 21, and further action was continuing on 22. Taken together with the women’s complaints, that means 853 complaints from women and children were resolved during October โ€” the figure highlighted in the report’s headline.

The emergency helpline 15 remained the backbone of the system. Police responded to 3,915 incidents reported on the helpline during October, covering emergencies across the district. The report does not break down those incidents by type, but the volume alone shows how heavily residents rely on the number when they need help quickly.

The virtual blood bank also recorded a strong month. It received 95 requests for blood during October and arranged supply in 81 of them. Citizens also came forward with 30 blood donations of their own, which the service passed on to patients in need. For families facing a medical emergency, a working blood arrangement service can matter as much as any police response, and the report presents it as part of the same citizen-service effort.

Another small but telling figure comes from the Meri Pehchan service, which helps trace missing or unidentified people. All five identity cases received during October were resolved successfully, helping separated people reunite with their families.

The report also records 1,368 cases of violations of local and special laws reported during the month, which were monitored for action under the law. Safe City Jhang says monitoring through modern cameras and technology, combined with timely police response, is helping to improve public safety and the prevention of crime.

The aim of the Safe City project, according to the report, is to provide better policing and better facilities to the public through the effective use of modern technology. The October figures give residents a way to judge that claim: thousands of emergency responses, hundreds of resolved complaints from women and children, and dozens of patients who received blood when they needed it.

For Jhang’s residents, the practical message is simple. Helpline 15 remains the number to call in an emergency, the virtual women police station and child safety service are open for complaints that might otherwise go unreported, and the virtual blood bank can be approached when a patient urgently needs blood. The October report suggests all three are being used โ€” and, in most cases, are delivering a result.
